Pixel Pals is one of the many projects that the people of Punk Robot are pursuing after working on their award winning short film “Bear Story". This project has had many iterations, and while I was working inhouse with the team, I undertook the task of trying to come up with a new look and feel. We tried lots of different styles, with a very "cartoony" 2D look, and a 3-D rendered "pixarish" look on both extremes. These are some of the attempts that I enjoyed the most.
